Medicinal plant is a plant that has two genders, which means that it can be divided into female and male. In some feminized seeds, it is likely that medicinal plants have two genders in one plant. Then we grow medicinal plants to get as many female plants as possible, because only female medicinal plants produces buds that can be used as a medical effect, and male medicinal plants do not produce buds, but produce pollen sacs. Although they do contain at least some THC, but only female medicinal plants can produce large amounts of tetrahydrogen medicinal plants buds.
First, let's look at how to identify female medicinal plants.
The sex of medicinal plants is shown at least six weeks after medicinal plants enters the pre-flowering phase, when medicinal plants forms a small bud in a key part of the branch. Generally speaking, it is slender, just like white hair. Secondly, we can observe the stem of medicinal plants. In general, the stem of female medicinal plants is more elongated and the leaves are mostly concentrated at the top, while male hemp branches are stout. Now people choose to use certain techniques or means to get more female seeds. Actually, there is a technique for growing healthy female plants during flowering by interrupting the cycle of light, called Rodelization Feminization, and in the colloidal silver feminization method, which mixes distilled water with pure silver and sprays on female plants, but this kind of way cannot make sure that the seeds will be female medicinal plants for 100%, even some manufactures claimed that it is guaranteed. It is very possible to happen that female and male medicinal plants are on the same plant.
When plants flower, they will lead to the formation of pollen sacs, so that the seeds can develop into female plants, and this method is also more effective. Another approach is the thiosulphate technology, which triggers a gender change from female to male by carefully selecting near-mature female plants and then spraying them with a 50/50 mixture of sodium sulfate and silver nitrate.
Put this plant back with other plants to pollinate other female plants and produce female seeds. So these are chemically increasing the likelihood of seeds becoming female.
If you think that these methods are not easy to get or the material is difficult to reach out, you can try some other ways to make up for it.
Now, let's mention a few simpler methods.
These methods affect the growth trend of medicinal plants by changing the environment in which medicinal plants grows, and have a role in influencing the gender development of medicinal plants, increasing the likelihood that medicinal plants seedlings will become female. If you want to grow more female medicinal plants, consider these tips mentioned above. Is there an impulse to plant and validate these methods yourself? Welcome to the ECO Farm.ca and get ready.

The reason for most of us growing medicinal plants is to try to find a variety with high CBD and low THC, because CBD's medicinal value is very high. Industrial medicinal plants are usually chosen as the planting target. So how do we extract medicinal plants oil CBD after we harvest mature medicinal plants? There are two common ways to introduce: carbon dioxide extraction and ethanol extraction. This is also the two relatively clean medicinal plants oil extraction methods.
CO2 extraction
This extraction method is more suitable for the extraction of small amounts of medicinal plants, as it involves a range of pressure and temperature control equipment, mainly by controlling the pressure and temperature to separate the medicinal plants oil, and it can up to a maximum extraction rate of 90 percent by this way. First, by injecting dry ice, or we can call it solid carbon dioxide, and adjusting temperature and pressure to make it be a liquid state of carbon dioxide. Some spices and chemicals are extracted by allowing the liquid carbon dioxide to pass through the medicinal plants leaves, and finally the liquid carbon dioxide is separated from the hemp oil. This method is very effective and is often used to extract a variety of essential oil products, and the extraction rate is high as well. The disadvantage is that the equipment is very precise, which means that the price can be up to a very high level, and the cost can be very expensive, so for the people who control the equipment instrument, they must be skilled.
Ethanol extraction
This method is a solvent extraction, which can extract more components not just CBD hemp oil. The ethanol extraction process, it is unlike CO2 extraction because using this method can produce very high full-spectrum medicinal plants extracts. This approach is also considered to be the safest way to extract. This solvent-based extraction method, especially for ethanol, can be applied to large-dose extraction, up to 20 times of the CO2 extraction method, and the operating equipment is relatively simple, so the power requirements are not high. In this respect, ethanol extraction consumes less than one-fifth of the required power of CO2. It also extracts much more than carbon dioxide, allowing the extraction of medicinal oils from almost all plants, including the Chlorophyll. However, the entire extraction process becomes very slow because this method is finished by utilizing its boiling point, coupled with subsequent complex processing.
Both ways above are the methods of extracting the CBD hemp oil from the medicinal plants, and we will update the information to provide a better service.

Humidity, as one of the important components of medicinal plants growth environment, has a great influence on plant growth. Before we know how to control the humidity of medicinal plants, it's important to understand why humidity can play such a key role in the growth of medicinal plants.
The first thing is that indoor humidity determines where medicinal plants absorbs water: if the air contains a high level of moisture, the medicinal plants chooses to absorb the moisture which is required for growth through the leaves. But in this case, the moisture content of the leaf surface will increase greatly, and it is easy to infect a variety of diseases to affect plant growth. If the moisture content in the air is very low, medicinal plants will intake water directly from the root. At this situation, the root of medicinal plants absorbs not only the water needed for growth, because the water in the root also contains nutrients. If only absorb water will not have too much negative impact on the growth of medicinal plants, but the range of nutrients in plants is very small, and once the maximum required for medicinal plants is exceeded, the medicinal plants leaves turn yellow and growth is constrained. And that runs counter to our purpose. So since the planting method we choose is LED tent, then we can control and adjust the humidity in the room to a good state, which in turn allows medicinal plants to grow healthily and quickly. Firstly, we need to prepare a temperature and humidity meter, which is available in ECO Farm Package. Because whatever adjustment option you choose, we need to use this tool to detect humidity in the tent.
What can we do if the humidity in the tent is too high?
Solution 1: Place a fan in the tent to speed up the flow of air, and it can take away water from some of the leaves, to prevent the medicinal plants from various fungi. The power of the fan does not need to be too high, as long as the continuous flow of air can be guaranteed. Fans with strong winds tend to topple medicinal plant. It would be better if you could use a fan to make a simple exhaust system.
Solution 2: Prevent dehumidifiers. The advantage of this device is that it automatically detects the humidity in the air and stops automatically if the environment is not in a high humid state. This method is simple, but you need to clean it manually if you store too much water, you can also choose a better-quality dehumidifier and connect it directly to the drainage system.
Correspondingly, if the humidity inside the tent is too low, what are the ways to refer to it?
Solution 1: The easiest way is to place a few glasses of water or a water-absorbing sponge in the tent. Please note that use clean water as much as possible, otherwise it will increase the possibility of bacteria breeding. Water through evaporation into the air can increase humidity, and reducing the intensity of ultraviolet light also can accelerate the formation of water vapor. Of course, it also need to have the premise of evaporation of water. This method doesn’t has a great impact on the humidity, and the process will be relatively slow. If the air is too dry, this inefficient approach is not recommended.
Solution 2: Swamp Cooler can be done. It is an alternative of air conditioner, but it is different from that. We all know that cooling can increase the humidity of the air, and if it is in a hot and dry environment, it highlights its advantages.
Solution 3: Place the humidifier, which is very direct like transporting water vapor to the air, to increase the amount of water vapor in the air.
No matter how many proposals we have suggested, the principles are much the same. Throughout the process of adjusting the humidity, please constantly pay attention to the change of the temperature and humidity meter, and adjust it according to its indication and the appropriate humidity for medicinal plants growth.
