Double Ended or DE Lamps are HID lights (HPS, MH, and CMH) that are run at extremely high frequencies which provides a more stable temperature and operating current. They have more efficient light coverage and electrical use than single ended lamps and the maintenance is much less than a standard single-ended lamp. They also provide a substantial increase in light intensity and PAR output than traditional SE (Single Ended) bulbs.
